Ottawa, Canada - Espial, a leading provider of TV software and solutions, announced they will be exhibiting at the Japan Cable TV & Telecommunications Show 2009 on the INTER-TEC booth. INTER-TEC has recently integrated Espial MediaBase with their own software which is available for domestic cable operators. On the booth, we will showcase two brand new solutions for small to mid range cable operators which are based on Espial MediaBase.

TS Transmission Server: Espial MediaBase has adopted as a transmission video server in MPEG-2 transport stream of sustaining program of cable broadcasting station. The Automatic Program Controller also bundled in a package. TS Transmission Server enables to build a server based high definition and tape-less services at lower cost.

Content Data Library: Espial MediaBase is also available as a content data library server for cable operators. This allows them to store, search, playback and reuse all of their video assets for their subscribers. This will enable to support the VOD services for subscribers with Espial's Evo TV Service Platform.
